Four New Members Appointed to Pennsylvania State Board of Probation and Parole
Retired Hazelton police lieutenant Mark D. Koch, lawyer Everett A. Gillison, Pittsburgh resident Linda P. Rosenberg and Erie County resident Theodore W. Johnson were confirmed Wednesday as new members of the state Board of Probation and Parole.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf nominated the four based on their education and previous experience.
State Probation and Parole Chairman Leo L. Dunn said all four members are experienced in the areas of public safety, victim issues and offender management.
Alabama Law Passed Ordering Chemical Castration for Paroled Child Molesters
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed into law the chemical castration of child molesters as a condition of their parole. The new law goes into effect in September.
